I was a bit worried the ecru fabric would show dirt easily, but it's held up beautifully to daily use. The swivel motion is smooth and the oak base feels incredibly sturdy.

Took a chance on this armchair and it's paid off—the swivel base is smooth but the oak footing keeps it feeling grounded, exactly as described. Sunk in with a book for an hour and didn't want to move; that cocoon-like seat is the real deal.

The swivel mechanism on this chair is smooth and quiet, making it easy to turn toward the conversation. The seat feels deep and enveloping, just like I hoped for cozy reading sessions. Only wish the oak base had a slightly darker stain to hide scuffs better.
